HE IS SO AWESOME...THE MIGHTY KING THAT WE SERVE.
I just got a call from my grandmother about my cousin Steve Goasa that has been battling cancer. The cancer has moved to his bones and the outlook as not been good. He took a treatment a few weeks ago and he swore it would be the last treatment that he took. The treatments are to hard on him. He has lost nearly 70lbs and is very weak and cannot eat.

He went to the doctor today for a checkup. This was suppose to be the doctor visit where they told him about how much longer he had - days, weeks or months.

JUST LET ME SAY THAT "THANK YOU LORD" GOD IS GREAT
Steve went to the doctor this morning and found out that his cancer has shrank nearly 90%.
YES THAT IS 90%. ALL I CAN SAY IS YEAH LORD.

The doctors have asked Steve to agree to one more treatment and then they will try and do the surgery to remove this from his body. It is in his leg. Steve needs to work now on gaining weight and getting some physical strength back.
YEAH HE IS TROUBLE - BUT WE LOVE HIM
Steve has survived alot. He was hit by a car in his late teens, leaving work while living in Arkansas. He served in Iraq during the first Gulf War. His younger half brother tragically took his on life last year, and now he is fighting cancer.
He is the oldest grandchild on my moms side and everyone has always just taken with him. He lives in California, which seems forever away. He has a daughter Brittany (11) from a previous marriage and he and Michelle just welcomed his second child RYAN in May of this year. When Ryan was born, Steve was in another hosiptal critically ill from a treatment he was taking that caused his kidneys to almost shut down. The doctors agreed for him to travel to the hospital his wife was delivering at in order to see his new son.
The last several months have been really difficult for my family. My Aunt Linda (his mom) has lost time at work traveling from Arkansas to California for weeks at the time to help take care of him. At first Michelle was on bed rest from her pregnancy, then the baby was born while Steve was so sick, then Michelle had to go back to work so they could begin to pay the nearly $1 Million already accumulated from all the treatments, hospitals stays and medicines he is taken
MICHELLE ,STEVE AND MY GRANNY
All these pictures were taken at my granny's 80th birthday last year at my house. This was the first time in nearly 15 years that I had seen Steve and the first time in nearly 8 years that my grandmother had seen him.
PLEASE CONTINUE TO PRAY FOR HIM. LIFT HIM AND HIS FAMILY UP. I ASK THE LORD's WILL AND STRENGTH BE WITH HIM. AND I THANK THE LORD SO TREMENDOUSLY FOR THE GREAT BLESSING OF THE CANCER SHRINKING.
JUST A BUNCH OF COUSINS CATCHING UP
